171 UNRWA employees were killed in the Israeli war on Gaza as of March 25

UNRWA announced that “as of March 25, the total number of working colleagues killed since the start of hostilities in Gaza has reached 171.”

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Friday that 171 of its employees were martyred during the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

The UN agency said in a report that, “As of March 25, the total number of UNRWA colleagues killed since the start of hostilities in Gaza has reached 171 colleagues.”
