Attorney Generals in several US states have warned users to delete their accounts and protect their data, after 23andMe filed for bankruptcy protection and its CEO stepped down on Sunday. The company is best known for its saliva test kits that enable users to track their ancestry, but it has been struggling with the fallout of a massive data leak in 2023.
