3 Hamas strongholds under fire

Israeli military takes control of the area surrounding former Hamas headquarters in Gaza City, including Palestine Square, where Yahya Sinwar, Hamas's leader, is believed to be hiding. Israeli forces are engaged in intense battles in three areas of the Gaza Strip: Jabaliya, Shajaiye, and Khan Younis. The ongoing war has entered its third month. Hamas warns that the remaining hostages won't survive unless Israel meets its demands and frees more Palestinian prisoners.
