As this is the rainy season, there is an urgent need for shelter for the 500,000 war refugees fleeing from areas that have not been spared from the fighting.
In addition, food Rakhine Army (AA) spokesperson U Khaing Thukha said that they are asking for donations because they are also in need of medicine and clothes.
"There is an urgent need for shelter in war-affected refugee camps. In addition, we are requesting NGOs, INGOs, and civil organizations to donate medicine, clothing, and food."
He also said that those who have difficulty in donating humanitarian aid to Rakhine State can contact and donate through the Rakhine Army (AA).
2023 in Rakhine State Residents have been forced to flee their homes as the fighting has intensified since November, and the military council has blocked the main road that transports food, and residents say there is a shortage of food.
RFA reached out to Rakhine State Attorney General U Hla Thein, the military council's spokesman for Rakhine state, to find out about the state of aid and support for war victims, but he did not receive an answer.
