There will be no prisoner exchange without stopping the aggression and withdrawing the occupation from the Gaza Strip

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its priority for completing a prisoner exchange deal with the Israeli occupation is to stop the aggression and withdraw from the Gaza Strip, noting that the Israeli government “uses deception and evasion in negotiations.”

Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its top priority for completing a prisoner exchange deal with Israel is “stopping the aggression” against the Gaza Strip.

This came in a televised speech by Abu Ubaida, on Friday. Stressing that "it has become clear that the enemy government uses deception and evasion in negotiations and is characterized by confusion and confusion."

Abu Ubaida added: “If we deal positively and are still with the mediators, our highest and first priority for achieving a prisoner exchange is a full commitment to completely stopping the aggression against our people and the resulting enemy withdrawal and reconstruction (in the Gaza Strip).”

He added: "These basic and humanitarian issues cannot be conceded, and any proposals that do not include these humanitarian axioms are of no benefit or interest to our people and our resistance."

Military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida:
📌The barbaric war against our people has entered its sixth month, and our enemy is still carrying out a true Nazi Holocaust.
📌Our people stand before an American-Zionist aggression that is unprecedented in history.
📌This battle establishes a new stage in the world whose title is that the right can only be taken away.

Abu Ubaida said: In light of what is reported from time to time “about progress, breakthrough, or retreat in the file of the truce negotiations,” it has become clear that the (Israeli) enemy government “is using deception and evasion and is characterized by confusion and confusion.”

'A deliberate war of starvation'

Regarding the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, Abu Ubaida said that Israel’s ugliness exceeded “a deliberate war of starvation in which the world witnesses the killing of parents seeking to feed their children and the starvation of children and their killing of hunger and disease in the most horrific and unprecedented war crime.”

He pointed out that "this famine cast its shadow on all components of the people in Gaza, including enemy prisoners who suffer from a lack of food and medicine."

Abu Ubaida explained that a number of prisoners “suffer from malnutrition, dehydration, and emaciation, and the disease is now threatening the lives of a number of them in light of the lack of medicine and appropriate food for them, in addition to their exposure to bombing and killing in many incidents that have been repeatedly announced.”

He added: "The American administration's lamentation over limited numbers of enemy prisoners while ignoring the genocide and holocaust to which our people and thousands of their prisoners are subjected confirms the double standards of this administration and their indifference to human rights and alleged international law."

Abu Ubaida called on all the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Palestine occupied in 1948 to mobilize and march towards Al-Aqsa Mosque and its headquarters and not allow the occupation to impose facts on the ground.

He stressed that Al-Aqsa "belongs to the Palestinians, and is part of their faith, and for which the Al-Aqsa Flood (operation) was launched, and for which the people of Palestine gave everything they possessed."

Abu Ubaida called on “the masses of the nation everywhere to declare a call to confront the arrogance of the Israeli occupation in every field of combat, confrontation, protest and demonstration.”

He said: “Let the blessed month of Ramadan be, as it has always been, an extension of Badr, the Great Conquest, and the escalation of the Al-Aqsa flood in the squares and fronts inside and outside Palestine.”

Quality operations and ambushes

Abu Ubaida referred to field operations, stressing that Al-Qassam fighters were able “during the last three weeks to carry out a large number of specific operations, through selected units, that placed the enemy in precise ambushes in combat zones.”

According to Abu Ubaida, Al-Qassam fighters were able to "blow up Israeli vehicles, in addition to carrying out sniping operations against officers and soldiers, bombing and targeting buildings in which soldiers were holed up, and bombarding crowds with shells."

He explained that the operations took place in the incursion areas in the south and north of the Gaza Strip.
