Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, said that Al-Qassam fighters have resumed fighting since the end of the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip, and they were able to target the occupation forces in the old and new areas of incursion and destroyed 180 Israeli military vehicles, completely or partially, in 10 days.
The military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, announced the complete or partial destruction of 180 Israeli military vehicles since the end of the humanitarian truce that the resistance concluded with the occupation, which lasted for a week.
Abu Ubaida added, in a recorded audio speech, that Al-Qassam fighters resumed fighting within 10 days and were able to target the occupation forces in the old and new areas of incursion.
He said: "Our fighters in all areas of the incursion into the Gaza Strip were able to completely or partially destroy more than 180 Israeli vehicles in 10 days, in the areas of Al-Shuja'iyya, Al-Zaytoun, Sheikh Radwan, Jabalia Camp, Beit Lahia, east of Deir Al-Balah, and east and north of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip."
Abu Ubaida added, "The (Israeli) enemy failed in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, and will fail more as its aggression continues and moves to other areas of the Gaza Strip."
Al-Qassam spokesman pointed out that the resistance fighters "confronted the enemy forces stationed on the front lines before the end of the truce or penetrating new fronts."
He said, "The temporary truce proved our credibility and that none of the enemy's prisoners did and will not come out except on our terms."
He stressed that the Israeli army "is still receiving blows from us, and what is coming is greater."
He continued: "We carried out a large number of specific operations, including attacking foot forces, sniping, and detonating mines," stressing that they were able to "definitely kill a large number of Israeli soldiers."
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli side regarding the statements of the Hamas spokesman.
At the beginning of this month, the humanitarian truce between the Palestinian resistance factions and Israel ended. It was concluded through Qatari-Egyptian-American mediation. It lasted 7 days, during which prisoners were exchanged and limited humanitarian aid was brought into the Strip, which is inhabited by about 2.3 million Palestinians.
In response to "daily Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people and their sanctities," on October 7, the Hamas movement launched the "Al-Aqsa Flood" attack against Israeli settlements and military bases around Gaza.
In its attack, Hamas killed hundreds of Israeli soldiers and captured approximately 239, exchanging dozens of them during a humanitarian truce that lasted 7 days until December 1, with Israel, which holds 7,800 Palestinians in its prisons, including children and women.
Since last October 7, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which as of Saturday evening has left 17,700 dead and 48,780 wounded, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to sources.
