The Saudi Jeddah Club revealed that its French star Karim Benzema will present his injury to the Real Madrid doctor after coordination between the two clubs.

Al-Ittihad Club suffered repeatedly throughout the current season from injuries to Benzema, who missed many of the team’s matches, which prompted “Al-Ameed” officials to make an agreement with his former club, Real Madrid.

The Saudi League champion last season said through his account on the “X” platform: “In light of the communication that took place between the medical staff of the club’s first football team and the medical staff of the Real Madrid team to consult about the injury of the player Karim Benzema, it was agreed that the player would conduct further investigations.” Examinations at the Real Madrid Club clinic.

The Federation confirmed that Benzema will undergo examinations in Madrid "by the doctor who medically supervised Benzema over the past years. The French player has left for Spain, and will return to the Kingdom next week."

Benzema joined Al-Ittihad during the 2023 summer transfer period from Real Madrid, but the French striker did not perform as expected and was subjected to harsh criticism from the fans.
