The Yemeni Houthi group announced that a US-British attack with two air strikes targeted the Ras Issa area in the Hodeidah Governorate, west of the country.
The Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV reported on Monday that a US-British attack with two air strikes had occurred on Hodeidah Governorate, west of the country.
The channel said, "The American-British aggression targeted the Ras Issa area in the Al-Salif District in Hodeidah Governorate with two raids," without details.
Hours ago, the group announced that it had targeted the Ras Issa area with three American-British raids, without mentioning their results.
Al-Salif District is one of the largest districts in Hodeidah Governorate, and contains a vital seaport, according to Yemeni media.
Hodeidah is also classified as one of the most important Yemeni governorates, as it contains three vital ports and camps, in addition to having a long coastal strip.
On Sunday, the Houthi group announced that it had targeted the American oil ship (Turum Peak) in the Gulf of Aden with naval missiles, which was confirmed by the US Central Command (Centcom), on Monday morning.
Since the beginning of this year, an international coalition, led by the United States, has launched raids that it says target “Houthi sites” in various regions of Yemen, in response to the group’s attacks in the Red Sea, the vital corridor for shipping and global supply chains.
On February 16, the US designation of the Houthi group as an “international terrorist organization” came into effect, in response to its attacks in the Red Sea, according to what the US State Department announced.
As they were subjected to raids from Washington and London, the Houthis announced that they now considered all American and British ships among their military targets, and that they required stopping their attacks as an end to the war on Gaza.

He explained that the aid comes “to alleviate the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip as a result of the difficult conditions they are exposed to as a result of the Israeli war.”
The Jordanian army announced, on Monday, the implementation of 4 airdrops of relief aid for the residents of #Gaza , warning of a “famine” in the Strip.
The airdrops mainly aimed to "directly deliver aid to the population, and drop it along the coast of the Gaza Strip from north to south," according to the army statement.
The statement pointed out that "the intensification of air strikes comes as a result of the humanitarian conditions of the residents of the Gaza Strip following the continuation of the (Israeli) aggression, which may herald the occurrence of famine in the Strip."
It is the thirteenth day of the Jordanian army's landing on the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an Israeli war since last October 7.
