Newspaper reports revealed that the Saudi club, Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club, is preparing a huge offer amounting to 25 million pounds sterling in order to obtain the services of the best goalkeeper in the world, during the upcoming summer transfer period.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported on Sunday that the Jeddah Football Association is interested in signing a contract with the Brazilian Ederson, the goalkeeper of the English club Manchester City, and the winner of the "FIFA" award for the best goalkeeper in the world.

According to the newspaper, the Jeddah club is preparing 25 million pounds sterling, as an initial offer to include Ederson, who is already considering leaving Manchester City, the English Premier League champion.

The British newspaper indicated that the Saudi interest in including Ederson dates back to last year, but the clubs were reluctant to make a large financial offer to include the Brazilian goalkeeper at the time.

She explained that Ederson is also receiving interest from Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia, as it is looking for a replacement for Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina, whose contract expires this summer.

Ederson (30 years old) suffered a fracture in his eye against Tottenham, which led to the end of his season with Manchester City.
