Anas Sarwar Sides With Rayner Over Abbott

Starmer continues to face backlash over his treatment of Diane Abbott from within his party as well as out. Now Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has come out against the Starmer, choosing to side with Labour’s Deputy Leader instead. When quizzed on BBC Breakfast if Abbott should be allowed to stand, Sarwar said:

“I agree with Angela”.
