Another cargo ship hit by MISSILE in flashpoint Red Sea off Yemen coast after UK threatens more airstrikes on Houthis

A MISSILE fired from Yemen has hit a Greek-owned bulk carrier near the Red Sea, United Kingdom Marine Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports.

The marine organisation sated the incident took place 100 nautical miles west of Yemen’s Saleef.

British maritime security firm Ambrey said the vessel was reportedly imapcted by the missile.

The vessel was transiting northbound at the time of the attack.

The attack comes after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said Britain would not “hesitate” to launch more strikes against the Iran-backed Houthis.

The Prime Minister‘s comments come after the Red Sea saw more action today, with a US commercial ship being hit by a missile off the coast of Yemen, according to US and UK officials.
