Apple CEO Tim Cook published a mysterious teaser for the upcoming conference scheduled for May 7, confirming that it will be broadcast online.
Cook published an exciting drawing in bright colors of the Apple logo (the apple) on the X website, inviting followers to stay tuned for the event. The company's website also published a copy of the animation that includes a hand holding a pen.
The conference will be broadcast online on Apple TV and Apple's website.
Mark Gurman, an Apple advisor, said that the company is about to unveil several new iPad devices, including a Pro device equipped with a new OLED screen.
iPhones have been equipped with OLED screens, which provide better image quality, since 2017.
MacRumors confirms that two models of the “iPad Pro” with an OLED screen, and two models of the “iPad Air” will be announced. These will be the first new iPads since 2022.
MacRumors adds that Apple will also launch a smart pen to perform some actions, and a new Magic Keyboard.
The company is said to be working on at least two new smartphones, although they are not expected to be unveiled at next month's event.
Shortly after the May event, Apple's annual Developers Conference (WWDC), will take place from June 10 to 14, although it will focus on new software rather than hardware.
Tim Cook also posted a "huge" AI announcement, possibly including a product similar to ChatGPT.
