The Kazakh Ministry of Defense denied the allegations that the drones that attacked Tatarstan were launched from Kazakh territory.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday, “The information published in some Telegram channels that reported that the drones that allegedly attacked targets in the Republic of Tatarstan were launched from the territory of Kazakhstan does not correspond to reality.”
“Such insinuations are aimed at discrediting the Republic of Kazakhstan,” she added.
The Ministry asked citizens and the media not to interact with the rumors being spread and to trust official sources of information only.
It is known that earlier Tuesday morning, drones attacked for the first time facilities in Elabuga and Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The press office of the President of Tatarstan said that the attack did not result in damage to the facility, but it led to the injury of 13 people.
