Heavy rains in Pakistan have caused 36 deaths, collapsed houses, landslides, and road blockages. The affected areas include Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Baluchistan province, Gwadar, and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. In 2022, flooding caused 1,739 deaths, affected 33 million people, and displaced 8 million. The Taliban-run administration provided 50 million afghanis ($681,000) in assistance.
