Chromia Set to Launch Highly Anticipated MVP Mainnet on July 16

Ava Protocol, a Web3 infrastructure project, has announced its mainnet launch on Ethereum as an EigenLayer AVS for smart contract automation. With extensive compatibility across the EVM ecosystem, this milestone enables developers to effortlessly include Ava Protocol’s boosted transaction automation, privacy, composability, and cost-efficiency into their dapps and projects.

The event-driven activation paradigm of the Ava Protocol makes complicated on-chain processes simpler by automatically initiating “super-transactions” when certain criteria, like as time, price, and smart contract changes, are satisfied. With Stripe-like ease, this simplified method of automating smart contracts lowers friction for developers and end users alike, removing a major obstacle to web3 adoption. Super-transactions don’t need any custom code, thus developers may easily implement them.

On EigenLayer, Ava Protocol will launch as an Actively Validated Service (AVS). On account of the fact that AVSs are not constrained by the architecture of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, they are able to provide developers with additional features that go beyond what is directly available on Ethereum and other chains that are built on the EVM. Ava Protocol offers on-chain automation with high assurances of execution for time-sensitive transactions and multi-step processes, realizing the vision of a new event-driven activation service as mentioned in the EigenLayer whitepaper. It is a very flexible tool for dapps, including scheduling future and recurring payments, streaming incentives, dynamic NFT minting, stop-loss and limit orders, and more.

Chris Li, Founder of Ava Protocol, said:

“With the support of our partners and community, we’ve reached a pivotal moment in our mission to deliver automated super-transactions on Ethereum. The launch of Ava Protocol’s mainnet will unlock new use cases for autonomous transactions that power smart contracts. We’re excited to showcase the versatility of EigenLayer’s AVS technology while addressing critical web3 automation challenges.”

Using EigenLayer’s novel restaking method, Ava Protocol is one of the first 15 projects to start an AVS, bootstrapping its active validation with pooled security from Ethereum validators. The protocol launches with 20 EigenLayer operators, including EigenYields, InfraSingularity, Kukis Global, Coinage, and Staking4All, chosen among top 100 EigenLayer operators by TVL.

Alex of EigenYields, a leading operator that runs actively validated services for EigenLayer, said:

“We see immense potential in Ava Protocol’s automated super-transactions, and are thrilled to provide a secure and resilient foundation for this innovative technology. This aligns with our mission to maximize value for our delegators by pushing the Ethereum ecosystem forward.”

Sam Shev, Ava Protocol Head of Marketing, added:

“We’re excited to bring Ava Protcool’s technology to a live environment for the first time and to see what our community will build using super-transactions. Thanks to the EigenLayer operators who have joined us on this mission, Ava Protocol will launch with a strong foundation to anchor everything that comes next.”

The Ava Protocol mainnet launch comes after a successful testnet, which included the involvement of 10,000 wallets and produced more than 1,000 automated transactions on a daily basis. Soon, Ava Protocol will publish a comprehensive plan outlining the AP token incentives that will be offered to early operators.
