Boles gave a ringing endorsement of his employers:

“Rachel understands what many of the great chancellors in history have understood, but unfortunately some rather more recent chancellors and prime ministers have not, and the reason why I think that Rachel and Keir are winning so much support from the business community is because the business community trusts that they understand that stability in economic policy will unleash investment – that the ambition that Labour has will be delivered by demonstrating to markets, to investors but also to individuals, to taxpayers, to consumers, that they’re not going to play fast and loose with their money.
