To begin their second year of partnership, Bitget, the top cryptocurrency exchange in the world and a Web3 firm, released a new promotional film today featuring the well-known football player Lionel Messi, carrying on the #MakeItCount concept. With the help of this campaign, everyone should be motivated to go above and beyond their comfort zones, grasp opportunities, and turn obstacles into opportunities for achievement.
The new #MakeItCount 2024 movie is a tribute to the fundamental principles that Bitget and Messi uphold: tenacity in the face of adversity, the idea that progress is cumulative, and an optimistic outlook in the face of adversity. The movie shows Messi’s perseverance from an early age, how he overcame hardship to become the greatest football player of all time, and how he continued to work toward his objectives. Bitget is dedicated to daily small improvements, much like Messi is. Bitget has grown from a little-known site created during the cryptocurrency winter to rank among the top 5 exchanges.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director at Bitget stated: “Both the story of Messi and the growth of Bitget serve as a reminder that greatness is not achieved overnight, but through persistent determination to make it count. As we continue the #MakeItCount Campaign in 2024, we remain committed to inspiring individuals, whether they are in the football and crypto sector or beyond, to pursue greatness as no dream is too big to achieve. Together with Messi, we are delighted to bring crypto to a bigger global stage, and drive the mass adoption of crypto and blockchain technology.”
Bitget will hold a platform-wide competition from January 23 to January 30 to commemorate the release of the new Messi movie. The competition will have a prize pool of US$20,000 worth of BGB, Bitget’s native token, as well as tickets to Inter Miami games at the DRV PNK Stadium.
Bitget also intends to hold live Football Challenge events in developing countries like Turkey, SEA, and LATAM, where the locals are very enthusiastic about football and the adoption of cryptocurrencies, after the release of the new Messi movie. The two organizations will also investigate working together in the charitable sector through Bitget’s CSR program Blockchain4Youth, which aims to educate the next generation about digital assets and encourage them to adopt Web3 and blockchain.
In October 2022, Bitget became the lone cryptocurrency exchange partner of the renowned Argentine football player, Lionel Messi.
