The conference, held from March 11 to March 22, centered on accelerating gender equality and women’s empowerment by addressing poverty and bolstering institutions and financing through a gender lens.

Meriem Chehih, President of Algerian Women Forum, Gracy Chen highlighted the imperative of dismantling systemic barriers, leveraging innovative tech-driven strategies to raise awareness, exploring cultural diversity, and fostering international cooperation to bridge communities.

The CSW68 conference provided a vital platform for governments, civil society organizations, experts, and activists to unite and strategize actionable measures and investments to eradicate women’s poverty and advance gender equality. 

Discussions emphasized the urgent need for accelerated progress towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing poverty and reinforcing institutions with a gender-sensitive approach.

Chen Pledges $10M to Blockchain4Her Program
