Black Mirror Season 7Netflix

The 7th Season of Black Mirror is scheduled for release in 2025.

Although a precise release date is still unknown, the mere fact that the show is in the works is already a significant milestone. According to earlier reports from Variety, production on the show would begin this year.

The return of Brooker, Jessica Rhoades, and Annabel Jones as executive producers has also been confirmed.

There was a four-year lapse between seasons five and six, which was much longer than usual. There are several possible explanations for this hiatus.

Firstly, the show’s rights remain with parent company Endemol Shine Group following Charlie Brooker and his creative partner Annabel Jones’ January 2020 departure from their production company House of Tomorrow.

This meant that no more seasons could be produced until a deal was arranged, which fortunately one was. In addition, the pandemic was a factor that probably caused additional delays, and Brooker’s enthusiasm for the project also played a role.

Naturally, we anticipate that Black Mirror’s renowned anthology format—one story per episode—will continue in season 7.

Even though there aren’t many specifics yet, we do know what will happen in one of the episodes. A follow-up to the USS Callister episode from season four, which followed an unprecedented space mission, will be included in one episode.

The following is a brief synopsis of the upcoming episode: “USS Callister will return… Although Robert Daly has passed away, the crew of Since this is the first sequel episode produced by Black Mirror, everyone will be watching to see how it turns out.

As soon as more information becomes available, we’ll update this page. As of right now, not much is known about the remainder of the season.
