A BOMBSHELL new video of the attempted assassination on Donald Trump shows cops with guns drawn seconds before the shooter opened fire.
Officers surrounded the warehouse that Thomas Crooks used as an assassin’s nest to shoot the former president at a rally on July 13.

The 10-minute long clip was filmed by one attendee of the rally standing next to the building Crooks used for his vantage point.
Audio in the clip captures Trump delivering his speech in the background.
Cops around the building become increasingly agitated as Crooks spends more time out of sight.
One officer can be seen running away from the warehouse holding their lapel as they speak into a microphone.
Another can be seen walking around the warehouse near the cameraman with his pistol drawn.
A woman begs the cameraman to leave the scene as tensions rise.
She says: “We need to get out of here.
“There’s f****** cops surrounding this whole entire f****** building right now.”
The video shows police trying to get a view of Crooks on the roof from the ground.
One cop even stands on a table to try and get high enough to see.
The cameraman instructs the woman to “make yourself small, I don’t know what’s going on.”
Seconds later people start shouting “get out of the way”.
Half a dozen shots then ring out as Crooks hits Trump in the ear and kills firefighter Corey Comperatore.
Snipers shot Crooks dead on the roof just seconds later.
The new footage is the latest clip in a series of bungles by police and Secret Service that saw the head of the agency resign.
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned following the widespread backlash over her federal agency’s failure to protect former President.
Witnesses who saw Crooks climb onto the roof warned police about the shooter.
Several other people were able to also record him as he bear-crawled into position on the roof.
One officer climbed up onto the roof, but descended the ladder back down after Crooks pointed his rifle at him.
2024 hopeful Trump later said he felt a bullet rip through his skin as it pierced the upper part of his right ear.
He thanked law enforcement for their swift response to the gunfire, offering his condolences to the families of those affected.
“I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania,” Trump wrote on Truth Social hours after the shooting.
“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.
“It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead.
“I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin.
“Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
