Jakarta - Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta basketball player Abraham Damar Grahita or often called Bram ruined the debut of Pacific Caesar Surabaya foreign player Adonnecy Joshua (AJ) Bramah in the 2025 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) match at the Pacific Surabaya GOR, Friday (7/2) evening.
The club's and Indonesia's national basketball team's mainstay guard went on a rampage in the third and fourth quarters to lead his team to a 94-85 victory over the hosts.
"Initially we had difficulties in the first half. But after we made adjustments in defense , we managed to disrupt Pacific's game rhythm to get the win," Bram said on the IBL page as quoted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Saturday.
The victory of the squad coached by Youbel Sondakh ruined the brilliant points achieved by Bramah.
The basketball player from the United States (US) managed to score 31 points, 17 rebounds , three assists , and two steals , the highest among his teammates and opponents who played in the match.
The center who is skilled in defensive and offensive rebounds, had to give up his fantastic points because it was not in line with the desired final result of the match.
Pacific, coached by Dhimaz Anis Setiaputra, was ahead 50-49 at the end of the second quarter or in the first half of the match.
The hosts put in a convincing performance, looking to threaten Satria Muda's 5-0 (win-lose) unbeaten record this season.
However, what happened in the second half or third and fourth quarters was the opposite.
Satria Muda was able to dampen the host's aggressiveness, including making them commit a total of 12 turnovers which disrupted their game plan.
Satria Muda created an eight-point gap (73-65) in the third quarter and increased it to 13 points (94-81) in the fourth quarter before securing their sixth win.
Abraham Damar Grahita led his teammates to steal points in Surabaya.
