Bride, 38, dies after falling into swimming pool at her own wedding bash just hours after tying the knot with fiance

A NEW bride died at her wedding bash just hours after tying the knot with her fiancé.

Elisangela Gazano, 38, lost her balance and fell into a swimming pool at the rented country house where she was hosting family and friends.

Partygoers tried to rescue her and called emergency services, but she went into cardiac arrest as she was rushed to hospital.

The mum-of-five was declared dead on arrival.

One local report said she had been dancing by the water’s edge when she tripped and fell in.

As well as celebrating her wedding the revellers were also commemorating one of her daughters’ birthdays.
