HEARTBROKEN parents of a Brit who died in a quad bike accident on holiday have warned others against using the “dangerous” vehicles.
Matthew Steward, 26, tragically died in the early hours of May 14, after a quad bike he had hired out on holiday crashed into another motor in Turkey.
His loving parents, Lisa and Gavin Steward, said the bikes are “not worth it” after the torment they have been through in recent months.
They are now pleading with other families to avoid quad bikes when they go abroad as “no one needs this heartache”.
Matthew was on holiday with his 24-year-old partner Dannielle Rose and her daughter Ruby, six, as well as their son Roman, three.
His family have described the weeks after his death as “absolute hell”.
Mother Lisa told PA Real Life: ““Dannielle can’t go home at the moment, she’s finding it very difficult to go home, and we’re just heartbroken, absolutely heartbroken. Absolutely devastated.”
