Brit holidaymaker, 33, raped onboard cruise ship by entertainer working on vessel while it was at sea

COPS in Majorca have arrested a cruise ship entertainer after he allegedly raped a British holidaymaker on board.

The man, 37, was detained in a cabin until the shop docked in Palma and police led him away.

His alleged victim, 33, said she was raped at high sea.

The man, from Kenya, was released on bail yesterday following a court appearance.

He was arrested on Friday morning from the ship which he was apparently working on as an entertainer.

It was not immediately clear today if he is allowed to leave Majorca or has had to surrender his passport.

Police are examining his mobile phone pending an ongoing investigation.

The ship they were on has been named as the MSC Fantasia.

It was docking in Majorca from Naples, Italy.
