Local cops have launched an investigation and club bosses are also probing the incident.

A spokeswoman for the PJ police confirmed this morning: “We are investigating an alleged rape at a nightclub in Lisbon.”
A well-placed source said: “The alleged rape victim is a 19-year-old British woman who appears to have been on holiday in Portugal.”
Paulo Damaso, the nightclub’s manager, told Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha: “We have already launched an internal inquiry and as part of that inquiry the worker in question will be interviewed.
“He claims the sexual relationship with the complainant was consensual.
“Whether that is the case or not it’s something we repudiate for having allegedly occurred within our installations.”
Urban Beach describes itself online as the “hottest night club in Lisbon where the party never stops.”
Revellers are encouraged to “get ready for a night filled with energetic beats and epic DJ sets that will keep you dancing all night long.”
