Brit tourist, 59, drowns while scuba diving off Lanzarote after getting into trouble near tourist hotspot beach

A BRITISH man has drowned while scuba diving off the coast of Lanzarote.

Emergency responders raced to pull him from the water in the tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen but were unable to revive him.

The 59-year-old had gone into cardiac arrest at around midday in Playa Chica on Thursday.
