Brit woman & ex-husband arrested in Benidorm after ‘masterminding kidnap & robbery of her wealthy lover’

POLICE have arrested a Brit woman accused of scheming a bungled robbery and kidnapping of her wealthy ex-partner near Benidorm.

She is accused along with her ex-husband – and the trio, all from the UK, are at the centre of an ongoing criminal investigation.

The investigation began with the detentions of two men following an armed break-in, but took an unexpected twist at the weekend with the imprisonment of the female suspect.

Police sources say they have evidence pointing to the unnamed woman instigating the crime.

The evidence shows she did may have plotted the bungled crime after becoming saddled with debts and seeing her rich ex-lover as the solution to her financial problems.
