British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that his country will allocate a new package of military aid to Kiev, pointing to the signing of a security agreement between the two countries to supply military equipment, including long-range missiles.
During his visit to Kiev on Friday, Sunak announced an aid package worth 2.5 billion pounds sterling for Kiev.
The Ukrainian website "Strana.ua" quoted Sunak as saying: "The package will include hundreds of thousands of missiles, anti-tank weapons, long-range missiles, and training programs for the Ukrainian army."
According to the Ukrainian newspaper “Yevrabyskaya Pravda,” the aid package will include, among other things, additional air defense equipment.
According to the British Prime Minister, “training will also be conducted for thousands of Ukrainian military personnel.”
Zelensky wrote in his account on the “X” platform, praising the security agreement that he described. “Unprecedented”: “The watershed moment in European history.”
Zelensky added: “Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a new, unprecedented security agreement, This is not a simple announcement, it is a reality that will bear fruit thanks to our cooperation.”

The German Foreign Ministry expressed its support for the US-British military strikes on targets in Yemen. She stressed that these Western moves are consistent with the United Nations Charter.
The ministry said in a statement that the strikes launched by the United States and Britain , with support from the Netherlands, Canada, Bahrain and Australia, were carried out in response to the Houthis’ ongoing unlawful, dangerous and destabilizing attacks on commercial shipping.
Berlin claimed that this was done "in accordance with the constitutional right to individual and collective self-defense, and in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations."
Earlier today, Friday, the British government issued a statement in which it stated that the strikes carried out by British forces on Houthi positions in Yemen were carried out legally and in accordance with international law.
For his part, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the American and British strikes on Yemen are illegal from the point of view of international law.
Today at dawn , the American and British armies bombed sites used by the Houthis in Sanaa, Hodeidah, Taiz, Dhamar and Saada, in a large-scale retaliatory strike.
