British PM Rishi Sunak pledges action over Post Office scandal impacting many British Indians

British PM Rishi Sunak is reviewing the compensation process in the accounting scandal involving sub-postmasters wrongly accused of fraud. The justice minister is looking to speed up the process of overturning wrongful convictions and providing compensations. Among the 39 sub-postmasters whose convictions were quashed are Seema Biswas and Vijay Parekh. The victims are still waiting for their rightful exoneration and compensation in what has been labeled as one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in British history.
