A BRIT tourist has died after being pulled unconscious from the water at a Greek island.
The woman, 66, was swimming at Achladies beach in Skiathos and reportedly lost consciousness due to the sweltering heat.
A Brit tourist has died in Skiathos, Greece[/caption]The Brit was on holiday in Greece and went down from her hotel to the beach for a swim, CNN Greece reports.
But she was soon found by a lifeguard, who pulled her out of the water onto the shore.
The lifeguard and a doctor at the beach performed CPR on the 66-year-old as she was rushed to Skiathos Health Center, but were unable to revive her.
The woman is expected to be transferred to Volos for an autopsy.
