Kenneth Law, a Canadian man, has been charged with 14 counts of second-degree murder for allegedly aiding young people in Ontario in killing themselves by sending them packages of sodium nitrite. Law is accused of mailing around 160 packages of the poison to individuals in Canada and over 1,200 packages to addresses in more than 40 countries. The charges against Law have been upgraded from counseling or aiding suicide. The victims ranged in age from 16 to 36.
