Car ploughs into crowd of people leaving at least 17 injured including three children before driver flees in Poland

A CAR has driven into a large crowd of people and left 17 injured including three children.

Reports say the crash was a hit and run after the driver fled the scene before being caught.

Two of those hit in the horror crash in Szczecin, Poland are in a critical condition, according to Poland-24.com. 

He has been identified as a 33-year-old man and is believed to have been caught after he caused more chaos and ramming into several cars.
