Children of Gisèle Pelicot decry 'house of horror' as French mass rape trial nears end

David Pelicot, the son of Gisèle Pelicot described the “house of horror” the family lived in during his testimonial at an Avignon court in southern France on Monday. For a decade, his father drugged his mother to have her raped by dozens of strangers. Caroline Darian, Pelicot’s daughter, also took the stand and said she had been "forgotten" despite also being assaulted by her father.
