A HAUNTING update to masked Swedish rapper C. Gambino’s Wikipedia page was made hours before he was confirmed dead.

The 26-year-old Gothenburg native was brutally ambushed and shot dead on Tuesday night, with the attacker striking shortly after the rapper parked his car.

The artist’s Wikipedia page was changed less than two hours after the shooting to include the macabre phrase “Stone Death” before cops went public.

The haunting change, which no longer exists online, predated confirmation by police and local media that C. Gambino had died.

The rapper, real name Karar Ali Salem Ramadan, was the victim of the vicious attack in the Hisingen neighbourhood.

While authorities are still searching for the assailant and the identity of the attacker remains unknown, police have their eyes on an infamous Gothenburg gang made up of “300 people”.

Swedish outlet Göteborgs-Posten first reported the disturbing change to C. Gambino’s bio on Wikipedia.

Daniel Norlander, a Hisingen cop, said police are looking for a silver Volvo V70 and working through 300 local gang criminals to weed out potential suspects, Sveriges Television (SVT) reports.

He told the local broadcaster: “We hunt those who are interesting people who move in this environment.

“We know who all the gang criminals are at Hisingen. There are 300 people, and we keep track of everyone.”

The rapper had parked his car up when gunmen unleashed a hail of bullets near the Selma Lagerlöf Square in the Hisingen area where he lived.

Hisingen is an island in the city of Gothenburg, in south west Sweden.

Witnesses reported that a car sped away from where the shooting took place immediately after.

A number of bullet holes were reportedly found in a glass door near to the car park.

Dramatic pictures from the scene show the punctured glass not far away from where the ambush took place.

Wounded in the chest and his arm, the rapper still managed to call emergency services and was awake and talking when cops arrived.

The gunmen had already disappeared from the scene by the time officers got to the garage, minutes after the emergency call.

Emergency responders found C. Gambino drenched in blood with his phone still connected to SOS Alarm, Swedish outlet Expressen reports.

Police desperately tried to keep the rapper awake as they attempted to stop the bleeding.

The musician, who has a staggering 994,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and donned a signature black mask at all times, was then rushed to hospital but tragically pronounced dead upon arrival.

Spokesperson Jens Andersson told us: “[A] witness saw a car that is seen in connection with what happened. We are investigating whether it is true.”

Another spokesperson Annika Laag added: “We are working to collect witness information from as many [locals] as we can and continue to work on the technical investigation.”

Police officer Thomas Fuxborg said: “[The rapper] lived here in the area and when he came to park his car, [the shooters] waiting for him attacked him.”

How did Sweden become a gangland hell ruled by druglords?

EXECUTIONS, bombs, and child soldiers running amok in the streets have turned Sweden into a gangland carnage.

A once-peaceful and safe nation is turning into a terrible haven for gangsters, murdering innocent bystanders, including a 12-year-old girl.

Although gang violence has been in Sweden for many years, the most recent wave has been particularly severe and has been fueled by two well-known druglords known as The Greek and Kurdish Fox.

While the nation’s leaders are getting ready to send out the armed forces, police have been ordered to stand by in case of violent crimes or explosives.

Blameless teenagers are discovered dead close to their family homes as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as gang warfare spills over into the inner circles and onto the streets.

Now, officials are facing a major challenge as they attempt to restore their country to the peaceful destination it once was.
