Here we’re back again with one more duo from Netflix‘s Cobra Kai, who had the most heated encounters with each other, before the Season 6 of the series release.
Robby & Miguel had heated relations from the beginning. You might say he was Miguel’s biggest rival. While they rarely speak often, it’s never positive.
Both have disliked one another since their first encounters, which happened individually and unknowingly. Their Rivalry parallels Daniel and Johnny’s initial conflict but on a more intimate basis.

The start of Rivalry
Miguel Diaz & Robby Keene initially met at Cobra Kai’s party during season 1. Samantha was unable to get down the hill, and Miguel noticed that Robby and Samantha were holding hands.
Miguel becomes enraged with both of them. “Who’s this guy?” Miguel asks Sam. Sam does not appear impressed by Miguel’s tone with Robby.
Robby then kindly asks Miguel to slow down. Miguel does not seem to catch the hint and knocks Robby to the ground. Miguel then tries to punch Robby again, but it mistakenly hits Sam.
The first All-Valley Tournament
The next time they are seen together is at the All-Valley Tournament. They are seen together on stage during Miguel and Robby’s last match.
Miguel wrongfully yanks Robby’s already damaged arm in a fit of rage. This leads Robby to be more injured. Miguel eventually wins the fight. But it leads them into Bad Blood.
The Epic School Fight
In the last episode of the school fight, Miguel attacks Robby, assuming that Robby is attacking Tory, even though Robby was trying to stop the two females from fighting and wanted him, Miguel, and the two girls to solve it out together.
Robby tells Miguel, “You can’t cheat the hell out of this one,” referring to the competition. Miguel then headbutts him and mocks Robby, saying he picked up this from Johnny.
While they’re both upstairs and resuming their fight, Robby kicks Miguel and says, “That’s for taking advantage of Sam,” about Miguel kissing Sam at Moon’s Party the night before.
While Robby is ranting about defending his lover, Sam, Miguel tells Robby, “She isn’t in love with you; she loves me.” Robby is outraged by this insult and gains the upper hand; however, Miguel ultimately puts him down.
While Miguel is ready to break his arm again, he recalls Johnny teaching him to show mercy at times. Miguel expresses “sorry” for kissing Sam. In a reversal of the previous year’s tournament, Robby refuses to accept this and attacks Miguel.
They both don’t notice they’re too near to the railing as a result of Robby accidentally knocking Miguel off the second-floor balcony, breaking his spine and crippling him. Robby, like most others, is shocked by what happened to Miguel. He fled for two weeks before being condemned to Sylmar Juvenile Corrections (SJDC).
Robby Ends His Relationship with Samantha Because of Miguel.
The two rivals do not see one another again until Robby is freed from SJDC and discovers Miguel engaging with Sam in a compromising situation. Robby accuses both of them of cheating behind him. Miguel defends Sam, leading Robby to warn him to keep out of it furiously.
When Miguel says no, Robby tries to fight him until Sam blocks his strikes and pushes him off. This is when he states to Miguel and Sam that they both deserve each other and admits that their relationship was a mistake, thereby ending things with Samantha.
Enemies to Brothers
Although Robby joins his father in finding Miguel in Mexico, both of them stay at odds despite Johnny’s attempts to bring them together. Finally, Johnny compels them to fight without any restrictions, hoping that Robby & Miguel will get it outside their system.
The fight finishes with Miguel about to throw Robby off a railing, the same way Robby had done to him until Miguel gives up, and they talk it out.
Robby confesses his deep regret for hurting Miguel, and the two at last reconcile. Moments later, Johnny tells that he & Miguel’s mother, Carmen, are expecting a child, which excites both of the boys and brings them closer.
