Code 8: Part II | Official Trailer
‘Code 8: Part II’ trailer shows The story of power and brutal police in dystopic Lincoln City, along with new characters and conflicts.
Despite the zingy teaser, the trailer offers a clear look at the chaos unfolding in deadly Lincoln City. After being released from jail, Connor works as a janitor at a community center, trying to stay out of trouble.
However, his good intentions fall apart when he is compelled to help 14-year-old Pav escape a gang of corrupt cops led by the double-faced Sergeant King, who has a dazzling grin and pleasing looks but is corrupt.
Despite feeling estranged from his longtime partner-in-crime and new criminal King of the city, Garrett, Connor is obliged to seek his help getting Pav out of the town. But can he truly trust the guy who triggered his imprisonment in the first place?
Sergeant King harps on and manipulates the ordinary people throughout the teaser: “Put your hands up, and we won’t hurt you.” But their behaviors indicate otherwise.
On the run, Connor & Pav show their powers; while Pav’s power is not fully exposed, it implies pyrokinesis. But she has a greater strength within; she has hope and bravery enough to take a stance and stop fleeing. Whether she survives has to be seen.
