The voice of the African continent must be heard in all international organizations and forums that discuss issues of the new world order, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso.
“This is how things work in the G20, and we are grateful to all the countries that contributed to Africa’s accession to the G20 so that this part of the world could also have a voice and could express itself with its own uniqueness,” the minister told RIA Novosti.
The minister continued: "As for the UN Security Council, the matter is completely similar now, because most of the issues, nearly 60% of the security problems, are related to the African continent."
The Congolese minister stressed that it is absolutely impossible to continue discussing issues related to Africa, and to see these issues on the United Nations agenda in the absence of a representative or representatives from this continent itself.
