The global crypto market cap plunged 2.62% to $2.08 trillion today. Besides, the total crypto market volume saw a 7.37% upswing to $70.11 billion.

Bitcoin Price

BTC price rested at $58,447.66 today, a 3.99% fall in the past 24 hours. The flagship crypto’s 24-hour lows and highs were recorded as $58,055.93 and $61,687.76, respectively.

Bitcoin’s dominance stood at 55.57% today, a 0.68% fall over the past day. This waning movement comes against the backdrop of massive BTC transfers recorded in the last 24 hours.

Mt. Gox’s Bitcoin address shifted nearly 33K BTC to new addresses over the past day. Further, the U.S. government moved 10,000 BTC from Silk Road wallets.

Data by Soso Value shows $81.36 million outflows in Bitcoin ETFs as of August 14, further aligning with the waning price movement. The coin’s market cap stood at $1.15 trillion today.

Ethereum Price

The ETH price chart illustrated a 2.10% decline in value today, reaching $2,654.83. Ethereum’s 24-hour lows and tops were $2,636.33 and $2,775.28, respectively.

Notably, this waning movement aligns with Jump Trading’s massive ETH dumps. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Ethereum ETFs conversely recorded net inflows of $10.77 million as of August 14.

Solana Price

The crypto SOL’s price showcased signs of sideways trading today, slipping marginally by 0.25% at press time to $144.95. Its 24-hour bottoms and tops were recorded as $142.72 and $151.73, respectively.

Intriguingly, a Solana whale sold $86 million worth of SOL tokens over the past day, raising severe investor concerns.
