Crypto Prices Today March 14: Bitcoin Nears $73,000, Ethereum Dips As SOL, PEPE & WIF Soar

The top crypto prices today registered a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price neared the $73,000 level again after attaining an all-time high at $73,641.04. In contrast, the Ethereum price fell below the $4,000 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as XRP and Cardano (ADA) dipped as Solana (SOL) rallied.

Major Crypto Prices Today

The Bitcoin price sustained above the $72,000 mark. The Bitcoin price was up by 1%, reaching $72,906.33 at the time of writing on Thursday, March 14. On the other hand, it’s trading volume dipped by 21.49% to $48.03 billion in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the crypto boasted a market cap of $1.43 trillion.

In the altcoin arena, the Ethereum price dropped by 2.12% to $3,957.90 at press time with a market valuation of $475.46 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume decline by 16.45%, reaching $21.88 billion. Meanwhile, the Binance Coin (BNB) price defied the gaining momentum and dipped 0.64%, reaching $537.94. On the contrary, its 24-hour trade volume gained by 9.27% to $4.04 billion.

The Solana price extended lower than the $150 level. The Solana price dropped by 2.70%, settling at $149.70. In addition, SOL witnessed a 0.99% hike in trade volume to $5.67 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the XRP price approached the $0.70 level. The XRP price recorded a gain of 0.06%, reaching $0.6952. Moreover, XRP’s trading volume plummeted by 49.81% to $3.62 billion.

Meanwhile, the Cardano price tumbled by 1.63% to $0.7511 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a 29.16% plunge in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $936.72 million. As the top crypto prices registered volatility, popular meme coins also followed. The Dogecoin price was down by 1.63% to $0.1717 while its rival, Shiba Inu price declined by 1.09% in value and traded at $0.00003285.

Pepe Coin Surges 12

The Pepe Coin (PEPE) crypto, a popular meme coin, soared over 12% today. At press time, the Pepe Coin price was up by 12.35% to $0.00001015 with a market valuation of $4.26 billion. In addition, its 24-hour trade volume spiked 71.05% to $2.30 billion.

Dogwifhat Soars 23%

Dogwifhat (WIF), a Solana-based dog-themed meme coin, recorded an impressive surge of over 23% and ranked the top crypto gainer today. The WIF price soared by 23.41% to $2.86 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume surged by 37.11% to $371.45 million. Furthermore, the Dogwifhat crypto recorded a high of $4.50 amid the rally recently.
