The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Sunday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip since October 7 has risen to “34,683 martyrs and 78,018 injuries,” according to its daily report.
The ministry said, "The Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 29 martyrs and 110 injured were brought to hospitals during the past 24 hours."
She added, "The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 34,683 martyrs and 78,018 injuries since last October 7," and continued: "A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."

Palestinian and international warnings are mounting about a possible significant increase in the number of casualties, if Israel carries out its threat of a military invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
There are about 1.4 million displaced people in Rafah, near the border with Egypt, and Tel Aviv claims that it is "the last stronghold of the Hamas movement."
Israel continues the war despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the UN Security Council, and despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
