Day 83 of war: Israeli tanks advance deep into Gaza town after strikes cause new mass exodus

Israeli tanks advanced into Bureij, a town in the central Gaza Strip. Israeli forces also struck the area around a hospital in Khan Younis, the main southern city in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian health authorities reported 210 confirmed deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll of the war to 21,320. Thousands of people are fleeing from Nusseirat, Bureij, and Maghazi districts and seeking refuge in Deir al-Balah. The United Nations agency in Gaza said over 150,000 people have nowhere to go.
