De'Aaron Fox to San Antonio Spurs in three-team deal

Jakarta - The San Antonio Spurs have officially acquired guard De'Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal that also involves the Chicago Bulls, with the deal bringing a number of big talents to the teams.

Fox, who is in top form with averages of 25 points, 6.1 assists and 5 rebounds per game this season, would be a perfect match for Spurs young star Victor Wembanyama.

Wembanyama, who recently won rookie of the year honors, has continued to develop in his second season with the Spurs and will make his NBA All-Star Game debut this month.

In addition, Wembanyama is also a strong candidate to win the Best Defensive Player award this year and it is possible that he will receive votes for the MVP category.

Quoting the official NBA website, Fox's decision to join the Spurs is not surprising, especially since he has the opportunity to play with Wembanyama, one of the best center players with a height of 226 centimeters.

Joining the Spurs also gives Fox the opportunity to start a new chapter in his eighth season in the NBA after previously earning All-Star and All-NBA status with the Kings.
