Trump on Wednesday announced an abrupt rollback of his extreme new tariffs on dozens of countries, rallying global markets that had gone into freefall earlier that day following his levy hikes. In a post on his Truth Social network, Trump said he had "authorized a 90 day PAUSE" in tariffs, except on China where he raised the levies to 125 percent.
