Defeat host representative Gregoria to the semifinals of the 2025 India Open

Jakarta .Indonesian women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung secured her place in the semifinals of the 2025 India Open after defeating host representative Pusarla V. Sindhu on Friday.

In the quarter-final match held in New Delhi, Gregoria wrapped up victory over Pusarla V. Sindhu through a rubber game 21-9, 19-21, 21-17.

Coming in as the fourth seed in the BWF Super 750 tournament, Gregoria was dominant in the first game. With a variety of attacks and solid defense, she did not give Sindhu a chance to develop her game in this early game.
