Democratic senators ask Biden halt military aid to Israel amid Gaza war

A group of Senate Democrats led by Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) have demanded President Joe Biden comply with the Foreign Assistance Act and cut off military aid to Tel Aviv. More than 31,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli onslaught against Gaza.
