Denzel Washington and Spike Lee are Set to Reunite for Their 5th Movie.
Some of their best works of Denzel in the past have been with director Spike Lee, the duo have worked together in four movies and all were huge successes now they are uniting for the fifth time to make movies after 18 long years, the last time they worked together was in the year 2006 in the movie Inside Man.
It has been announced that Apple Original Films will be partnering with entertainment company A24 and together they will produce a movie titled “High and Low,”.
The agreement suggests that the movie will be released theatrically by A24 while AppleTV+ will officially do the global launch.
The movie will be a crime thriller based on the adaptation of Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 film High and Low. Hollywood’s adaptation script has been prepared by Alan Fox and Spike Lee.
This is the second time that Denzel is collaborating with Apple Original Films, the last one was in 2021 with the movie The Tragedy of Macbeth which bagged him his 10th Oscar Nomination.
The production for the films has already begun and the shooting will start anytime soon, the cast and crew look amazing and we can surely expect an Oscar-level movie.
