DONALD Trump has warned he could cripple Russia’s economy if Vladimir Putin refuses to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine.
The US President said there are “things you can do that wouldn’t be pleasant in a financial sense”.

His warning comes as pressure mounts on Moscow after Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky backed a proposed 30-day ceasefire.
Asked how he could force Putin’s hand, Mr Trump said: “We could do things very bad for Russia.
“But I don’t want to because I want to see peace.”
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said about the talks: “If their response is no, it would make their intentions clear.”
UK Defence Secretary John Healey urged Putin to “accept the ceasefire, start negotiations and end the war.”
He added: “I say to Putin, over to you now.”
Last night Putin was pictured in the Kursk region of Russia for the first time since Ukraine attacked the area.
