The Ministry indicated in its statement that the aid shipment includes medicines and special medical equipment, as well as equipment to deploy temporary shelters.

The ministry’s statement said: “The Russian side, in partnership with the Afghan Business Center in Moscow and its president, Muhammad Nader Shah, delivered a shipment of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, which includes medicines and special medical equipment, in addition to wheelchairs, as well as equipment for deploying temporary shelters, which are needed by the population of Afghanistan affected by natural disasters.” Urgently".

The statement indicated that the shipment was delivered at Kabul Airport during the New Year holiday.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added that Moscow will continue to provide humanitarian aid to the friendly Afghan people.

This Russian initiative comes after a series of earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.4 were recorded in western Afghanistan on October 7. The following week, new earthquakes occurred in the country, and the total number of victims exceeded 10,000 people.
