All About Netflix Movie Drawing Closer.
The premise of the movie Drawing Closer explained: Prepare yourself for a beautiful heartbreak Based on the widely-known and loved novel by Aoi Morita titled ‘Yomei Ichinen to Senkoku Sareta Boku ga Yomei Hantoshi no Kimi to Deatta Hanashi’, which was published originally on an online self-publishing website.
However, this gave birth to the story of ‘Drawing Closer’ which has successfully expanded its universe to OTT instead of just literary imagination.
The literal translation of the Japanese novel means ‘The story of how I, who was told I only had one year to live, met you, who only had half a year’.
If that doesn’t break hearts, we don’t know what will!
The official synopsis of the movie takes viewers on a beautiful journey as it showcases the intertwined lives of Akito Hayasaka (played by Ren Nagase) and Haruna Sakurai (played by Natsuki Deguchi).
The story revolves around Akito, a young man who has given up on life after receiving disturbing news of a terminal diagnosis that robs him of his life – until he meets Haruna, who rekindles his will and hope to live. She turns out to be his shining beacon of hope and his strongest supporter.
