The European Mediterranean Seismological Center announced that an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Montenegro.
A statement issued by the center said that the tremor was recorded at 03:06 a.m. today, Monday, 76 kilometers northwest of the country’s capital, Podgorica, which has a population of 236,000 people.
